On the day lawman Will Kane is due to turn in his badge and leave town with his new bride, he hears that an outlaw he put behind bars some years ago is coming to town on the noon train to exact his revenge. Abandoned by the townsfolk he had selflessly protected in the past, the film edges towards the fateful hour in real time as Will must face his nemesis alone in this classic western. Controversial at the time for the way in which it broke genre conventions, particularly around notions of 'good' and 'bad' guys, the film remains a high watermark of its genre, with pertinent things to say around notions of citizenship.

This film was one of the more violent films that we saw at film club. It is all about a man who put someone in jail and then they got out again, seeking the streets to find that man and kill him. Along the way, he got no help as no-one wanted to risk getting killed when fighting. For me, I wouldn't really watch this film again as it was quite peculiar as you wouldn't really get a film like this for an 8 year old (now 9). It doesn't really teach you a lesson as it is violent. The other people, they teach you a lesson: stay safe. He did handle it, but it was quite risky as the person came with a group. However, the good man eliminated two, then turned the corner on the third. I thought he was done but then his wife came up behind and shot him. They were defeated!

This film is 85 minutes long, it was produced in the year 1952. This film isn't really my type of film because it is a western film. I would of liked it to be a comedy film so that all of the start would be funny, but it will still tell the storyline! I would recommend this film to people that like cowboys and western films.
Overall this wasn't the type of film I am into so I am going to give this film 2 stars

The film was quite talkative and theres hardly any shoot outs or exciting things but ghe sheriff is quite weird. The bad guys always do nothing to the good guys but somehow they ended up having a shoot out which was quite entertaining.

This is a boring film up until the shootout.

A sheriff asks his friends for help but they all say no so he has to face the bad guys in a classic western shootout at noon.

If you like movies with action like shooting with cowboys , then this is the film for you. This film is all about a sheriff who put someone in jail who has recently been let out.
    What will he do?

I personally don't like the idea of the film so therefore I didn't have a favourite part . If I had to choose a favourite part I would choose when they builder up the tension and make you wonder what is going to happen next. I didn't like the theme of it as well as that it hasn't got a lot of talking throughout.

I would recommend this film to ages 9 and over because of some scenes . I think that this is really the file of film for boys.
