On the day lawman Will Kane is due to turn in his badge and leave town with his new bride, he hears that an outlaw he put behind bars some years ago is coming to town on the noon train to exact his revenge. Abandoned by the townsfolk he had selflessly protected in the past, the film edges towards the fateful hour in real time as Will must face his nemesis alone in this classic western. Controversial at the time for the way in which it broke genre conventions, particularly around notions of 'good' and 'bad' guys, the film remains a high watermark of its genre, with pertinent things to say around notions of citizenship.

This film is 85 minutes long, it was produced in the year 1952. This film isn't really my type of film because it is a western film. I would of liked it to be a comedy film so that all of the start would be funny, but it will still tell the storyline! I would recommend this film to people that like cowboys and western films.
Overall this wasn't the type of film I am into so I am going to give this film 2 stars

    GREAT!

The film was quite talkative and theres hardly any shoot outs or exciting things but ghe sheriff is quite weird. The bad guys always do nothing to the good guys but somehow they ended up having a shoot out which was quite entertaining.

    BANG!

This is a boring film up until the shootout.

A sheriff asks his friends for help but they all say no so he has to face the bad guys in a classic western shootout at noon.

If you like movies with action like shooting with cowboys , then this is the film for you. This film is all about a sheriff who put someone in jail who has recently been let out.
    What will he do?

I personally don't like the idea of the film so therefore I didn't have a favourite part . If I had to choose a favourite part I would choose when they builder up the tension and make you wonder what is going to happen next. I didn't like the theme of it as well as that it hasn't got a lot of talking throughout.

I would recommend this film to ages 9 and over because of some scenes . I think that this is really the file of film for boys.

Do you like films that make you think? If you do then this is the film for you! It is packed to the brim with action ,adventure and of course, cowboys!

The film starts with the town's marshal, Will Kane, getting married. But what should have been one of the happiest days of his life, turned out to be one of his worst! He was told that one of the men he had put in prison years ago (Frank Miller) was coming back for revenge! And even though this may not seem like good news for Will , it turns out even worse for the bad guys!

I like this film because if you pay attention, you won't get bored and it keeps you hooked until the end. I also like the way that they build up tension so you just have to keep on watching. They do this by the use of the camera and music in the background. In the film the camera is angled differently depending whether the character is wanted to look weak or powerful. The music is also used wisely as there is a constant drum beat all the way through the film.

I would recommend this film to children aged eight to twelve as you do have to pay attention, but if you`re enjoying the film (which you will) you should do that anyway. So, I`ll see you soon in cowboy land. Bye for now, YEE-HAW!
