Bringing to life the much-loved story by British poet Ted Hughes, The Iron Giant takes place in a quiet American town in the 1960s. The tale begins when a young boy named Hogarth follows a trail of huge footprints leading from his house into the woods - and finds an iron giant from space! Instantly the two form a firm friendship, and when the army try and destroy this enormous visitor, Hogarth does everything he can to protect his giant pal. Beautifully animated, this is a film with lots of wit and a huge amount of heart.

I enjoyed the film! (even though I wasn't there to see most of it!) It may become a timeless classic of heart-warming yet devastating events!

I enjoyed the love between Hogath and the giant. And the crazy general of whom wanted to kill the iron giant. However, it may be too upsetting for some as there is some death. The giant pulled himself from his crazed attack on the military all thanks to our young hero. The giant saved the people and even those who tried to destroy him just to show that he is good! 10/10 from me! And for any other scene of even I didn't see!

the film is very good because it has a lot of climaxes and it is not rushed,i can tell that the makers have but alot of work into it.
