Video: Animator Vicky Mather joined us in the FILMCLUB Live studio to talk about her award-winning short film Stanley Pickle

Profile: Vicky Mather made Stanley Pickle as her final project on her masters degree, and it's gone on to clean up on the festival circuit, winning a staggering 32 awards all over the world!

The film is made using the same stop-motion animation used in Wallace and Gromit or ParaNorman, except that instead of puppets being animated, Vicky used actors, creating a really interesting effect.

The film will form part of a series of shorts our Films Team have curated alongside the British Council, and will be available for clubs to order soon — watch this space!
