Dylan Thomas turns 100 - Enter our filmmaking competition

23rd June, 2014

To honour the 100th anniversary of Dylan Thomas' birthday on 27 October, we're asking you to immortalise one of Wales' greatest ever writers in a new filmmaking competition.

In partnership with Literature Wales, we want you to create a short film about the works and life of the man behind such iconic poetry as "Do not go gentle into that good night" and wonderful dramas like Under Milk Wood.

We want our members to make a short film, no longer than four minutes about the works or life of the great poet. Perhaps you'd like to bring Under Milk Wood into the modern day by adapting it about your own town or village? Or maybe you'd like to shoot a mock documentary about Thomas' trips to the United States?

Take inspiration from Thomas' poetry and other works and be as creative as possible. Cast friends, other club members, even teachers and make the best tribute to Dylan possible.
