It is 1850 and Tom, a young apprentice to a chimney sweep, is falsely accused of theft at a grand house in the country. As he tries to escape, he falls into a nearby river - and is assumed to have drowned. But for Tom, a wonderful adventure is only just beginning, as he befriends the various creatures that live beneath the water. A winning combination of live action and animation, adapted from the children's book by Charles Kingsley.

Well i thought the water babies good but bad at parts and it wouldnt be the kind of film i would pick (but thats my opinion)so thats what i thought of the water babies!!

The Water Babies is very action-packed and mysterious. It is quite amusing and the Water Babies are cute. There are songs until about half way through and there is a romance, but I don’t want to give anything else away.So, bye-bye.
