I love this film! It’s about a place called hallaween town and one of the people who lives there explore the woods and find a place called christmas town where he learns about presents and stockings so when he gets back he decides that instead of celebrating Halloween he and the Halloween towns folk decide to celebrate chistmas but it all goes horribly wrong! This film is very imaginative and has lots of songs!

the nightmare befoer christmas is the least appealing film ive watched. theres no action no up-to-date graphics and absolutely no scary parts. its not a nightmare at all.
if yopur into action packed and scary movies then avoid this film. and guess what? its a musical!!!! it gets worse and worse as the film goes on. ill give it two stars

this film didn’t have the sense of homour i was looking for. it had way to much singing. i didn’t think that it would be a kind of musical. it had good imagination but it just wasn’t what i was looking for.
Fascinating facts
Tim Burton said the original poem was inspired by the sight of Halloween decorations being immediately replaced by Christmas decorations in shops.
The Nightmare Before Christmas’ writer and producer Tim Burton had planned to direct the film as well – but a scheduling conflict arose while he was making 1992’s Batman Returns, and so he invited Henry Selick to take his place.
