this is a good film but it is a bit boring at times. i like the the bit were the man gose around all of the houses and gives the children presents. it is funny wher you see the face on them :-). i would show this film to a 6 year old. try and work out what the pictures are on the doors of the trees if you watch it.

This Christmas film is one, in my opinion, best left to collect dust on the shelves. For an enjoyable family christmas film, this is not one to pick. The film was too short for the audience to connect with the characters, and the plot too bland and uninteresting to keep the audience interested for too long. Although the various songs were quite fun and enjoyable, i would not reccommend this film.
Fascinating facts
Tim Burton said the original poem was inspired by the sight of Halloween decorations being immediately replaced by Christmas decorations in shops.
The Nightmare Before Christmas’ writer and producer Tim Burton had planned to direct the film as well – but a scheduling conflict arose while he was making 1992’s Batman Returns, and so he invited Henry Selick to take his place.
