In the first Mummy, adventurer Rick O’Connell and librarian Evelyn Carnahan battled the evil ancient Egyptian Imhotep - and also found time to fall in love. Nine years later, the pair have an eight-year-old son, Alex, and are still on the look out for priceless relics. When Imhotep comes back to life (again), he sets out to control the army of the Scorpion King (played by wrestler The Rock). Rick, Evelyn, and even little Alex, must try to prevent a bloody showdown between the ancient villains, in this winning mix of old-fashioned adventure and state-of-the art CGI effects.

the film was exciting at the start but slowed down in the middle and gave you more of an exciting middle and end
the film was an action-packed one of a kind. The plots were well set out and some of the film was very funny.

The Mummy Returns is the great action packed sequel to The Mummy. It has great humour and fast paced action all the way through.
At the begining of the movie it shows you a scene from ancient egypt to start off the story and give you an idea about what the rest of the film may be about. From here as you may have guessed the evil Mummy imhotep returns. The newly married o’connells and there mischievous son Alex quickly get involved when Alex puts on a bracelet which he cannot remove. He then finds out that he only has a limited time to get to a hidden oasis and remove it.All in all a great movie and I would recommend it to anybody who would like the fun moments and action sequences.

I think the mummy returns is a catchy and exiting movie. I beleive a good movie is made by abit of a scare and at some points in this movie i found myself looking at the floor as i did not want to see what had happened. Although the part near the end of the movie were evy died was abit of a shocker it was very obvious that she was going to come back to life in some way or another because without her i dont beleive the movie could have possibly had a ending
that matched the movies qualities. i didn’t think that the actor casted as the mummy was the right fit as he looked far to much like some guy you see on the streets in town. So allthoight he was a decent actor he was not fit for this movie, in my opinion. I believed that everything els was really good quality enertainment apart from one thing that always drives me crazy in films from america how that the people who are ment to be english talk so stupidly and how people from places like new york sound more english. But other than a couple of trip ups i really enjoyed this magical and supersticious film.
Fascinating facts

London’s geography may not be the strong point of The Mummy Returns – the scenes set in the city feature Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral and Tower Bridge in the same shot.
