While The Mighty is first and foremost a hugely entertaining story, what lies at its heart is an awareness of the importance of friendship. The friends in question are Kevin and Maxwell - Kevin, a frail boy with a chronic illness, who is then persuaded to help tutor Maxwell, healthy in body but emotionally troubled. The two outsiders develop an unshakeable bond, escaping their often harsh reality into stories of adventure in the time of King Arthur.

I thought this film was great it was a bit sad but it was still great i thought the morel of the story was 2 heads are better than 1 i enjoyed the part when the boy absalied down the drain to get the ladies purse

Fascinating facts

The trailer features two scenes not in the film: Max playing with Kevin's toys and Kevin getting a computer at Christmas.

The Mighty star Elden Henson began his career in showbusiness at the age of two as a baby model.
