Neo is a bored, office worker, illegal computer whiz whos continuous life routine is dull and un-dramatic; that is, until he comes into contact with the mysterious Morpheous - who is searching for “The One”. Now realising that his life and existence is nothing, he fights to seek for the answer.

This movie is out in its own world. Probably the most significant feature is the slow motion moments, which for me was just HILARIOUS!!!! (some found it exciting and captivating, meh).

A quite good film to watch on a very boring night, or if you just want some action to brighten up your day. I enjoyed it, probably not the best choice, but some of you may disagree; if so, post a comment :P.

The matrix Is a unique film that blends martial arts, with gun kata and science fiction it starts with a girl on a computer with the police closing in and soon she defeats them all with superhuman strength, next we cut to neo played by Keanu Reeves who is a hacker and soon meets the ever cryptic morphious Who likes nothing more than to say more cryptic lines, when this movie first came out the special effects were state of the art for the time and redefined how sci-fi films should be made, overall the film has a great blend of sci-fi and action and a great addition to sci-fi action films

MATRIX!!
Come on, They should get better Kung-Fu artists.
I’ve seen better but overall I like the film! With all the bullet dodging and the way the bullets just stop in mid-air!

Fascinating facts

Carrie-Ann Moss twisted her ankle during filming but continued to film and kept it a secret so as not to lose her part.

The hollowed-out book in which Neo keeps his illegal computer discs is “Simulacra and Simulation” by the French philosopher Jean Baudrillard – a book about how very little in the modern world can truly be considered “real”
