Two children find a box on a beach that contains mysterious crystals and a battered stuffed bunny called Mimzy. Not long later, the kids start developing strange powers, and receiving messages from the future from Mimzy - all of which is obviously more than a little confusing for their parents. It also brings them to the attention of agents from the FBI. This is a sweet sci-fi fantasy, with great performances from its two young stars.

I had low expectations of Mimzy but I now know that I was very wrong! It was an exciting film & will keep you on the edge of your seat all the way through. This film will apeal not only to children, adults too! I do not normally give 5 stars away so this film to me is one of my favourites. : )

The Last Mimzy was a good movie, it is an exciting adventure with children helping save the people of the future world. I liked the idea that only children can see the magic of the toys. I found it interesting how the movie used sound like Mimzy talking and the how the spider let off sound waves. Its good how there is a “green” message but its done through a fun story.
I rate this 4 stars

Some old guy once said ‘writing about music is like dancing about architecture’, I thinks it’s the same with writing about movies, especially as one as different as this. But I like dancing about buildings so here goes: The Last Mimzy is a magical movie that shows the relationship of a brother and sister and how sharing a secret can create a special bond between two people. I can really relate to this because me and my brother are always having little secrets together and although we fight sometimes like the children in the film we still are best friends. It’s really exciting because you never know what’s going to happen next and you can’t guess the ending.
