The Last King of Scoland was a very intereting film. I had no idea that it was based on a true story. my favourite part of the film was when all of the kids were playing football and the Docter came and startedplaying to. The bit of the film which i didn’t like was when the Docter was hung up by his skin i felt very sick and had to look away. But I liked the film anyway.

This film is by far the best i have seen in film club. Even if it wasn’t based on a true story, it would still be great, but as it is, it makes it that much more magnificant. I also thought James McAvoy and Forest whittaker were fantastic. It gives a brilliant but upsetting insight to such an historic story.
Just brilliant

The Last King of Scotland was a facinating film. It gave me a real incite into how Africans vote and contol tghere contries. Polictics in Africa is not fair and is unsafe. The Film was entertaining as well as being serious. The acting was very good. The film was very dramatic and emotional. your emotions were swung to and forth. A incredibly good film! Fascinating facts

Forest Whitaker who plays lead character Idi Amin, stayed in character off set so he could remain true to the role - and his dedication proved invaluable when he later won a Best Actor Oscar in 2007.
