Fascinating facts

The Coen brothers co-wrote The Hudsucker Proxy at the start of their careers while sharing a house with another budding film-maker – Sam Raimi, who would later go on to direct all three of the Spider-Man movies.

The song Waring Hudsucker sings as an angel is the same song that Gale and Evelle sing in Raising Arizona.
