When our flim club was first announced I couldnt wait to watch a film! I looked at the poster, Stardust! I had an idea what it was about but had never watched the whole film.
Tristan Thorn is a young man who is in love.He would do anything for his true love, Victoria. So when Victoria sees a shooting star, Trisatn jumps in with the suggestion he will go get it. Setting out on a quest, Tristan had no idea the Star would be a young lady by the name of Evaine.
In stromhold, a magical world, 3
witches also seek the star for its heart.A stars heart holds the key to eternal beauty! The witches also set off to find the star.
If you think the plot couldnt get any more action filled, a king is dying and he sets his sons on a journey to find a ruby, whicher son finds the ruby ,will become king. The ruby ends up with the star, so the star seems to be most popular in Stormhold and the village where Tristan lives, The Wall, named because of its wall which seperates the two worlds.

I loved this film when I first saw it in the cinema, I didn’t want it to end! I liked the way it was three stories at once so it didn’t get boring. The special effects were great. 10/10

Fascinating facts
In the novel by Neil Gaiman from which Stardust is adapted, the hero is called Tristran - but for the film he was renamed Tristan (without the second ‘R’) as it was easier to pronounce.
