Glasgow 1968: 13-year-old Lex lives with his widowed mum and two older brothers ? art student Alan and hard-nut gang member Bobby. Without a dad for guidance, he admires them both, unsure of who's the best role model. But after accidentally shooting the psychotic leader of the feared Tongs gang, Lex's future is stolen when he's drawn into gang life himself. The cocky kid thinks his new criminal associations make him ultra-cool, and he's too immature to realise the devastating consequences of his actions. This is a sobering life lesson that rages with restless hormones and adolescent confusion.
