Seven-year-old Damien and his nine-year-old brother Anthony have an interesting problem on their hands - a bag containing £265,000 has dropped into their lives, and with only a few days left before the British pound is replaced forever by the Euro, they only have one week to spend it, give it away, or try to return it to its owners. What the boys do with the cash, and how they feel about their sudden fortune, makes for a thought-provoking film full of hilarity, excitement and unexpected twists and turns.

I thought that millions was a bit boring. In places but it was a bit funny. My faverite bit was when the bin began to talk.

Millions is a film witch isn’t full of action or loves, its full of choices. Good or bad, but sometimes even making the good choices in life can have horrible consequences. That’s what I learnt when I watched this film and it’s always good to learn something when your watching a film. For someone who’s just a kid had made such a honourable choice then out of nowhere having the bad luck isn’t right, isn’t it. This is a believable film, it makes sense and it’s easy enough to follow. I really enjoyed it and am not afraid to say it. Because if you watch it you would see that it’s hilarious and full of hard heating entertainment. I would recommend this film to a person who likes a good bag of popcorn whilst watching a movie with some friends. But just make sure they don’t try and give away the ending if they seen it before because that will just ruin the movie. This is a film about fate, every step he taken, every word he said, leaves hem to a choice, to give or to destroy? But with one will he pick, you won’t know if you don’t watch the movie.

Fascinating facts

One of the actors who plays a martyr in Uganda, actually claimed to be a descendant of the real martyrs in Uganda of 1881, according to director Danny Boyle.

Instead of spending money on the “cast and crew” t-shirts traditionally worn during a film shoot, the makers of Millions donated the equivalent sum to Water Aid to help build a well in Africa.
