Akeelah and the bee is a film about a 11yr old girl who enters a school spelling bee and she is so close to winning she dos’nt win. BUT….. she gets herself a tutor who helps her become more confident on her spellings and then discovers a way to spell any word possible and guess what she wins the world championships with her compotition Dylan. If you have’nt seen this film then I am telling you watch it (warning after the film it hypnotyses u with wanting to spell better well I now it did to me!!)

Akeelah and the bee was an okay film with quite a lot of slang… Personaly my favourite part was when she (Akeela) got asked to participate in the contest. I also liked it when they had a spelling contest at the end.
Notice: I noticed one swear word in the film.
