I thought this film was a real refresh from all the new moves of today about comic book heros and superpowers don't get me wrong I love DC comics but this fiml was incredibly realistic and easy to relate to, a young streetwise runaway child who has nothing left for him in the world and a young Polish boy who is quite naive about the new world that he lives in.Basically they are polar opposites but there's something about the pair that just ,for a lack of a better term, works.

The best part of the film for me was the fact that it's black and white ,representing the grim and grey part of london they live in, but you soon get past that after you get into it then BAM it turns to colour when the duo come to France showing they're having a great, wonderful time in this completely different world where they can leave behind all their troubles and woes of the world they left behind.

Also all these new films are all about special-effects and beating the bad guy but this film really has no end there's no catching the villain and the guy getting the girl it's just one man, a camera and two kids getting by in this strange, cruel world.
