After her parents die in India, young Mary Lennox is brought back to England and taken to live in the strange gloomy house owned by her uncle. However, her uncle is almost never there - and having worked out how to get out of her locked room, Mary explores the house and its grounds, and starts to find out the many hidden places and stories lurking there. The Secret Garden was originally one of the great books for children - and this film version is every bit as good.

It was amazing but it was sad when the boy couldnt walk and when the father wouldnt visit him. My favourite character was the little girl. My favourite part was when the garden began to grow. I am glad that they all lived happily ever after. I love this movie because it was sad.

The Secret Garden was fantastic and sad, I was nearly about to cry. It was just the way couldn't walk and then at the end he was able to walk run and do anything, and at the end the the father of the none walking child came back to see him and his neice. The neice was Kate Maberly who was a great actress. I loved this film because it was the way that they acted the story out.
