This is a wild and wacky comedy about the hopeless HI McDunnough - a criminal who marries Edwina, a policewoman. When they discover they can't have children, they decide to kidnap one of a set of newborn quintuplets - because Edwina believes that anyone with five children won't miss one. Unsurprisingly, things don't end there, as everyone from a pair of dozy escaped prisoners to a spooky Hell's Angel get involved in the mayhem. Film-makers the Coen brothers have created a fine example of slapstick comedy with some inspired silliness here - but there's a touchingly human side to the story too.

Although Raising Arizona is not my type of comedy, the scenes which were put into it were very out of the blue and very good along with the camera usage. My personal favorite was the Police + dogs + the people at the shops + H.I. Mcdunnough (the main character) chase. This proves that even if you are not familiar with a certain type of film and genre, you can still like it, its just called 'trying new things'.

Absolutely brilliant! All they way through I was laughing at everything. The thing that makes this film good is that many of the characters and scenec are not what you would usually exspect see in film. The plot and actors are brilliant and there wasnt one part of the film that I didnt like!

I would definetly recommend this film to others!

Raising Arizona is a funny and slightly ridiculous film about a man (Cage) who lives a life of crime. When he meets the woman of his dreams Ed (hunter), everything changes for H.I. He gets out of prison and proposes to Ed, after deciding they want a baby they are shocked to find Ed is barren. A brilliant comedy that will leave you laughing.
