In this bright and colourful animated fairy tale, two childhood friends are reunited as adults by a thrilling quest. French boy Azur has no mother, so he's looked after instead by Arabic nurse Jenane - and becomes best friends with her son, Asmar. The two boys love to hear Jenane's stories about an imprisoned fairy princess. Azur goes away to study, and when he returns his father has sent Jenane and Asmar away. So Azur embarks on a perilous journey to find his friend - but in doing so, he discovers that they're both in search of the fairy princess. Will friendship or adventure prove more important? This film was originally made in Arabic and French, but has been dubbed into English.

This film was great! The film was about two princes that were set on a
hard quest. The quest was about a jen fairy and whoever saves her first
will get to marry her, but before the quest you need to find three keys
(they were not keys but were like keys and the princes names were Azur
& Asmar.) They did pass the quest but the problem was that they both
got there at the same time. They had big fuss choosing who to marry
the jen fairy but they finally chose. My favourite part of the film
was when Azur found his nanny. My least favourite part of the film was
when Azurs father sent Azuurs nanny out. I did not have a favourite
charactar because I could not choose between Azur and Asmar. My least
favourite charactar was Azurs father because he thinks that just
because he is rich he thinks he can do anything to poor people.
The two funny parts of the film were when Azur & Asmar were fighting
when they were little and the other one was when they were trying to
decide who to marry and they called the little princess and she said
to marry both. Another part I liked was when Azur & Asmar were babies
and they were learning how to talk, they were so cute. The sound was
important in the film because Azurs nanny singed a song. The animation
was weird and it was like a normal cartoon episode but in a long version.
If I had wrotten the film I would actually show who marrys who and put the wedding in the film. Anyway the film was GREAT!

I loved the film because it teaches us that you want to marry someone. My favourite charactar is azur and asmars mother. I liked the part when azur was carying asmar and he goted keys that he throwed them to get to the fairy. At the begining it was fine but when they were 7 or 6 they was naughty to each other. The film is great!

This film was a different type of animation. When you look at it it is a type of animation that looks like a 3D movie but without the glasses of course. Even though it looked weird it still had a great story. Azur and Asmar are men that are very helpful to each other. They both go on a quest to find this fairy and whoever gets there first will get to marry her. But when they get there both of them arrive at the same time so they had a hard time choosing who gets to marry her. But instead another fairy comes and the one of them gets to marry her then suddenly both fairies change their minds, then the princes swap to the other person. Well other then that the scene that I enjoyed most was when they were in the desert riding their animals; it was a very good scene that can calm you down after some fighting. The part of the movie I didn't like was when they were fighting in the yard it just looked disgusting. This film was just amazing I really loved this movie.
