In this bright and colourful animated fairy tale, two childhood friends are reunited as adults by a thrilling quest. French boy Azur has no mother, so he's looked after instead by Arabic nurse Jenane - and becomes best friends with her son, Asmar. The two boys love to hear Jenane's stories about an imprisoned fairy princess. Azur goes away to study, and when he returns his father has sent Jenane and Asmar away. So Azur embarks on a perilous journey to find his friend - but in doing so, he discovers that they're both in search of the fairy princess. Will friendship or adventure prove more important? This film was originally made in Arabic and French, but has been dubbed into English.

I thought this film was very colourful and the drawings were very interesting, but it was unusual because it wouldn't be something I would pick up in a shop, but I enjoyed it.

I thought that this film was a well animated quest story. It had the features of a quest story. At some points in the film you would laugh (out loud) I would say it was good (not brillant).

i thought the film was good the graphics were good(but not excelent!) and the story line was very clear aswell, but i rate it a 3 because even though i said the graphics were good they were'nt as good as they could of been. the sound quality was very good the music fit the scene, like say if the badies were fighting the goodies then it would have dramatic music which was good. if i gave it a rating out of 10 i would give it a 7. thanks see you next week!
