Bringing to life the much-loved story by British poet Ted Hughes, The Iron Giant takes place in a quiet American town in the 1960s. The tale begins when a young boy named Hogarth follows a trail of huge footprints leading from his house into the woods - and finds an iron giant from space! Instantly the two form a firm friendship, and when the army try and destroy this enormous visitor, Hogarth does everything he can to protect his giant pal. Beautifully animated, this is a film with lots of wit and a huge amount of heart.

Iron giant is a very dull movie at the beginning mostly because everything is dark in the movie which made it so hard to see espiclly because the sun was shinning on the screen. However later on in the movie you are able to see more stuff because the animation became lighter.my favourite character would be the little boy because anyone could just run off and leave the giant but he didn't wich made me really like his bravery. I rate this movie a 4 it was better than good but less then perfect

I really thought it wasn't that good 1 I saw it the 6th time!!!! And 2 I thought it was boring I do think the animation was good and the hole story but it was boring to see it over and over and over again you know It gets a bit B-o-r-I-n-g so I give the movie one star don't mean to be harsh 1/5*

The Iron Giant is an apsoloutly amazing film. The Iron Giant is my favourite character because he does anything he can to help Hogarst (the boy ) to survive and stop the villain from blowing up America. I have five words to describe The Iron Giant. Which are - Brave, heroic, ginormous, kind and grateful. I would recommend this film to you. You can probably understand why I've given it 5*****. (:

I enjoyed the Iron Giant. My favourite character would be the giant as he is a good-hearted robot except when the villain gets him into his RAGE MODE. The title was supposed to be iron man until people started making iron man films. I thought the iron giant was a outstanding film full of adventure and action. I love that the giant has so many powers that he discovers throughout the whole film.

I thought the iron giant was a good film. My favourite character would have to be the iron giant because everyone would think he is dangerous but he's not he might look dangerous to the villagers. He only goes dangerous just to protect himself. The ending is so good but also a bit sad. this film is for all ages. thats why i rate this film 5*/5*
