You might not have thought that detention could lead to a powerful and often hilarious story of lives being changed in the space of an afternoon - but that's exactly what happens in 80s classic The Breakfast Club. When a bunch of high school kids who would normally have nothing to do with each other are forced to spend their Saturday in detention, will conflicts arise between them? Or will the students realise that while they may seem very different, deep down inside they have plenty in common?

The breakfast club features five students, with five completely different personality's, ( The jock, The Nerd, the Princess, The Goth and the Trouble maker) all stuck in an all day (Saturday) detention. It is great because it can relate to many teenagers and has a variety of emotions mainly humour and this old 80's film is ten times better than the present day films as it is original and therefore the humour is much more amusing as many present day films copy of old films so this makes the present day films seem boring and repetitive, The breakfast club is worth watching so don't judge it before you watch it just because its an old film doesn't mean it isnt good! so watch it you will enjoy it. - Brilliant film.

Classic film from the 80s. Before the days of Emilio Estevez in the Mighty Ducks. The film was casted beautifully with each actor playing their roles perfectly all the way from the "bad boy" to the "high school jock". The band of outcasts come together in their differences and find friendship, against the odds. All the while the school teacher tring to catch out the kids and get them back into detention next weekend. Great film.

Classic 80s film! This film follows five teenagers who are spending their Saturday in dentention. At the beginning, all were separated; they had come from different social groups and backgrounds and the awkwardness kind reflected slightly on us who were watching it. However, as the film progressed it just became better and better, as we learnt about each character's lives it seemed as if we were able to relate to each one in some way or another.

Who ever knew detentions could be so much fun !
It's about 5 children in high school who all get detentions and have to do them on a Saturday morning, but as you can guess they don't take it lightly and just do what any teenager would do if they had to go into school on a Saturday- misbehave.

This film is AMAZING! It has loads of funny parts, and some quite sad parts. You get to know the characters and their stories. You can sympathise with each character and it's really nice how they all get to know eachother. (I don't know why I liked this film so much, it's just really good. WATCH IT. You'll love it!!!!!)

I really do love this film ! It's for the teenagers of 1985 and for teenagers of the present day. Its basically a film based on a young group of misfits that have joined together on a saturday for a detention. They are all from different backgrounds and so this film can relate to everyone.
