With its wild chase scenes and twists in plot, Alfred Hitchcock's classic spy thriller will keep you on the edge of your seat. A mild-mannered man on holiday, Richard Hannay gets more than he bargained for when he befriends a mysterious woman in London - and then finds her murdered. On the run from the police, who suspect him of the killing, and from the spy ring she was trying to expose, Hanney flees to Scotland to try to uncover more clues - and prove his innocence.

I realy enjoyed the film, but around about the middle I wanted to go to sleep. I gave it a 3 because it was good, but I thought it was going to be better. It was a good try for Alfred Hitchcock's first film.My favourite part was the end.

This film was about a man who met a lady in a club. The lady was later murdered. The man was blamed for the ladies murder and ended up going on the run.
The plot was quite difficult to follow possibly because the film was in black and white and the characters looked similar.

The 39 steps is about a man who goes to a show and he hears shooting noises and evryone runs away. After he meets a lady and she is a spy and they are all being attacked by policemen and there advenchure starts. This film is a merder mystory. I don't like this film atall because some parts are boring and I don't understand it so I give it 1 out of 5.

I didn't really enjoy the 39 steps. I must admit though, some parts are amusing. I would say this film is a bit old for me so i think teenagers would prefer it. This film is about well- mannered man named Richard Hannay who befriends a mysterious woman - and then finds her murded. While he escapes from the police, who think he has something to do with the death, and the spy ring she was trying to get rid of, Hanney flees to Scotland to try to uncover more clues - and prove his innocence.

A rather short film and just like Psycho it has a nothing or a rather simple story line so i was expecting something a little bit better but for its time it was great. but for now it's too old, a bit boring and a bit fake

therefore my rating is a 4
