A powerful film that proves that children can be heroes too. In 1930s Australia, children born to mixed race parents were often taken from their Aboriginal mothers by the state to be brought up working as servants for white families. And that is the fate which awaits the half-Aboriginal Molly Craig, her cousin and younger sister after they are sent to a re-settlement cap. But Molly and the other two girls escape and attempt to return to their real home - heading for the 1500 mile long rabbit-proof fence that will finally lead them back where they belong. Partially voiced in Aboriginal, subtitles in English.

This film has rasism and is the saddest film I ever watched.I would recomend this film to people that like films that make you cry of happiness.I think the oldest girl molly had a hard time and was my favourite character.
