A powerful film that proves that children can be heroes too. In 1930s Australia, children born to mixed race parents were often taken from their Aboriginal mothers by the state to be brought up working as servants for white families. And that is the fate which awaits the half-Aboriginal Molly Craig, her cousin and younger sister after they are sent to a re-settlement cap. But Molly and the other two girls escape and attempt to return to their real home - heading for the 1500 mile long rabbit-proof fence that will finally lead them back where they belong. Partially voiced in Aboriginal, subtitles in English.

An okay movie. It was very sad in lots of places and it made me want to close my eyes it was so sad. The way the movie was produced makes it look stunning but a bit too sad for me.
