Charles Foster Kane has everything he ever dreamed of - talent, power, money, influence and the devotion of a beautiful woman. So why does this media mogul die unhappy? Set in the America of the early 20th century, Citizen Kane unravels like a mystery story, with a journalist piecing together clues as he tries to work out the meaning of the last word the millionaire newspaper owner spoke before he died. But the real secret is not only what took place in that final moment. It's also how a man can have it all, and yet feel as if he has nothing - and how the world sees him as a result. Citizen Kane is often hailed as the greatest film ever made - a true classic whose story and style still seem as fresh today as they did when it was made in 1941.

This film was literally amazing. At first I was really tired so I fell asleep untill the lightning came up and then that woke me up. But throuhgout the film I got a bit confused because one minute this man was talking to someone about Charlie Fostar Kane why he kept menconing ROSEBUD to Mr Kane coming back to life. But overall he was a good actor. I loved how he had 2 wives. Him and his first wife were talking in there house and it showed us different parts of there life from them arguing and in the end they seperated. And the first time he met his second wife was actually in the street because she was laughing at him because he had mud all over him. The part what I liked the most is when different scenes were fading into each other. But overall a brilliant film. 10/10. :)

i thought that it was good but it was a bit hard to follow beacause a)it was in black and white and b) beacuse i found it quite hard to follow as it kept going back in time to show his life. I think it also showed good camera shots and the lighting was really good
