All is not well on Tweedy's chicken farm. Led by the plucky Ginger and ably abetted by American interloper Rocky, the chickens are on the verge of a revolution - because the evil Mrs Tweedy is planning to turn them all into pies! This good-natured animated film tips its hat to several classic escape movies, most obviously The Great Escape, but ploughs a furrow all its own in which chickens knit, fly planes, hatch plans and eventually make their longed-for exit. Cracking stuff.

I LOVE THIS FILM BECAUSE I LIKE HOW THEY TRY AND FIND DIFFRENT WAYS TO ESCAPE.
I dont like it when one of the chikens gets their head chopped off and sold for meat, all because she was not laying enough eggs. Its funny watching the hen trying to teach them how to fly even though he knows they cant do it. If they dont ecscape they will all end up as chicken pie. Its a great film.

Hm..this film wouldn't be the normal type of film i would watch, but it was okay, it wasn't brilliant but it was okay. The story line to this film is basically chickens living on a chicken farm, but its more like a WW2 concentration camp. The chickens have to lay an egg daily otherwise they are killed. The lead chicken Ginger, attempts numerous plans to flee the coop from The Tweedys. But when a chicken named Rocky lands in with the chickens from out of no where, Ginger gets suspicious from where he comes from. But when she finds the first half of a poster with Rocky on it. Showing it to the other hens and explaining how he came in, she claims that he can fly, and attempts to convince Rocky to help her and the other hens escape by teaching them how to fly. However, Rocky's wing was injured, and he cannot show them immediately. So Rocky puts them through a set of exercises that seem to have no purpose while assuring them that all the chickens are making progress. It basically goes from there, with large machinery arriving and food being doubled, theres obviously something going on. Thats basically how the story goes. Its full of suprises, thrills, laughter. This a film maybe targeted at the younger generation rather than the older generation. But it could also be seen as a family film.
