Set in Nottingham, A Room for Romeo Brass tells the tale of schoolchildren Romeo and "Knocks" - neighbours and best friends. That friendship is damaged, however, when an older man named Morrell arrives on the scene. At first, the Morrell seems harmless enough, if something of a sad loner - but soon he comes between Romeo and Knocks, before revealing himself to be far more dangerous than first thought. Nothing in this marvellous film comes sugar-coated - but is all the more impressive for it.

it was good because it shows some familys dont care about their children very much, and so anything could happen to them.

I didn't expect to like this film when I was first told about it but it was suprisingly good. The ending was the best. 4 out of 5 stars.

'Room for Romeo Brass' is as said abovve in the poster, excellant. Directed by the up and coming Shane Meadows who has directed films such as 'Somers Town'. In his usual; style this is not the typical film but after 10-15 minutes of figuring out the plot and as a consequence getting into the film you truely become attached to the people in the film and the differing personalities. Paddy Considine is brilliant as hte derranged adult who hangs around with children who are ten years younger than him and the ending of the film is very good. 4 out of 5
