This British take on classic heist films like The Asphalt Jungle is also a fascinating record of 1960s Newcastle - despite the fact that some scenes were shot in Rugby. A gang of crooks plan to rob a security truck, but their plan goes badly wrong resulting in a dead truck driver and a very angry widow. Don't expect any authentic Geordie accents, though - most of this gang sound anything but.
