In this classic and highly influential British sci-fi movie a must for any fans of Doctor Who or Torchwood - an unexploded bomb is found by workmen constructing a new London Underground station. This was not such an unusual thing 40 or 50 years ago, but Professor Quatermass of the British Experimental Rocket Group believes the object is something very different indeed - an alien spaceship that has been under the capital for millions of years and which might even explain the evolution of human civilisation. What is certain is that anyone who goes near it starts behaving extremely strangely, and soon this eerie tale takes a turn for the decidedly sinister.
