Yes, it's that time again - we're looking for our FILMCLUB of the Year!
Nomination deadline: 3rd February 2012

Each year we like to shine the spotlight on those clubs who embody the FILMCLUB ethos: enriching the lives of young people through exciting film journeys. The 3 finalists (each bringing five people) will be invited to the glitzy First Light Film Awards at the BFI  in London on Monday 5^th March, where the winning club will be announced!

We are always looking for new and unusual examples of film clubs, but previous winners have fulfilled most of the following criteria:

- Regular DVD ordering from our website
- Interesting film choices (including FILMCLUB Recommends titles)
- Regular screenings
- Online members and some regular reviewers
- Inspirational leader(s)
- Making a difference to challenging/hard to reach students
- Running successfully in a deprived area
- Good communication with coordinator
- A maverick or unique angle

If you think your club has what it takes to win, please email your FILMCLUB coordinator explaining in a few sentences how your club fulfills the criteria above and what makes your club special. Remember to write your name, school and address in the email too.
