Video: FILMCLUB reporter Kerry interviews two up-and-coming animators, Kate Charter and Tom Senior, at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. They tell us why it can take a whole day of work to achieve four seconds of animation, and explain the importance of watching other people's work.

Profile: Kate Charter studied Art and Design at university, which is where she first fell in love with animation. Tom Senior also first began making animated films at university. Both specialise in hand-drawn animation - their short films each required over 3000 separate drawings!
