Here at FILMCLUB we don't want to tell you which movies are great - we want you to tell us, and everyone else.

This weeks review of the week comes from:

Juno

5 stars out of 5 14 September 2008

This film made me laugh hysterically in places but had a strong morale behind it. the film teaches yound people about teenage pregnacy and shows them that they are not alone and there are many ways to cope without having an abortion. it really helped me understand how a girl at the age of 16 goes through things like pregnancy and helped me understand the meaning of life in itself and how we should not aspire to be something were not! we should be proud of who we are in whatever situation!

Other reviews this week:

Vertigo

4 stars out of 5 8 September 2008

In this classic Alfred Hitchcock film we follow the story of a man (James Stewart) on his mission to get over his fear of vertigo. To be honest this film is hard to follow in terms of its strange sound effects and dodgey visual effecrs. However, considering the film was made 50 years ago, its not hard to se why Alfred Hitchcock has gone down in the history books as one of the best directors of all time. A good enjoyable film.
