Spirited Away

4 stars out of 5 12 June 2008

My first impression of this film was "oh no, not again". I'd never seen a film like this before, and i wouldn't mind seeing it again. What the lack of human involvement lost was made up in an inticing plot, an amazing array of music and a strong set of characters. Chihiro, was a character that was easy to relate to girls in similar situations. After moving house and ending up in a deserted 'theme park' it shows how her determination can rescue her greedy pigs of parents and her love for Haku, another victim of the spirts, can solve a hatred between two unusual twins, to suprising effects. The bond between these two characters even helped them rescue each other. Overall i loved this film and even cried in some places. However it was sometimes confusing and only became clear at the end. I would recomend this film because it was an amazing, enchanting animation, but if your looking for something serious you may feel you wasted your time! Despite this I really loved it!!!

Napoleon Dynamite

9 June 2008

this film is a film i would recommend to those people who find confusing films not confusing.Anyway i was confused by this film because first nepolean (jon heder) was looking for a date to the dance and then he wanted pedro (efren ramirez)to become class president and he .... watch it first. nepolean does not realy fit in at school and gets bullied by a lot of people. meanwhile his grandma is in hospital after having an accident on a dune buggy. nepolean's uncle comes in and takes charge and sort of makes nepolean's life worse off than before he came.it all ends...??? this film is not rude its hilarious and i give it 7 out of 10 for that reason. i have tried to watch this film before, but it was not what i expected!! All in all its funny but a bit hard to follow at times. that was my review of nepolean dynamite thank you.

Napoleon Dynamite

I didnt like this film that much but there were parts where i really enjoyed parts of it. I didnt like the film because i thought that it was a bit drawn out and boaring. I think it could hav done with a bit more action in. The parts i did like were the parts that where funny and they got the whole class laughing at them.
