Here at FILMCLUB we don't want to tell you which movies are great - we want you to tell us, and everyone else.

This weeks review of the week comes from:

Ronan from Lord Williams, Thame (Aged 12)

Edward Scissorhands

4 stars out of 5 03 June 2008

i think that edward scissorhands is a good film. it has a great storyline and characters but i wouldnt say i wouldwatch it again as the story is the main thing in the film. still a good film which is quite funny...

Other reviews this week:

bradley from St Edmund's Catholic School (Aged 16)

Blood Diamond

5 stars out of 5 8 June 2008

Blood Diamond is an extremely powerful film which explains the real life issues of the the diamond industry. with the likes of Leonaro Di Caprio and Djimon Hounsou giving a floorless performance, its easy to see why it under-achieved at the awards. It's simply to close to the truth of what is realy happening in 3rd world countries. With its great cast, camera work and direction, this is the ideal film for anyone who loves an emotional journey through the power of film.
