Review of the week
(19 May 08 - 25 May 08)

Here at FILMCLUB we don't want to tell you which movies are great - we want you to tell us, and everyone else.

This weeks review of the week comes from:

Sam from Alsager (Aged 14)

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

5 stars out of 5 23 May 2008

What can I say? I have loved this film ever since I first saw it, and, being the best one of the trilogy (not counting the new one) it does not disappoint. The acting is superb, the script is top-notch and the chemistry between Ford and Connery on-screen is fantastic. It also has some great action scenes, despite some showing their age. Overall, it really is a brilliant film, with plenty of in-jokes and one-liners to keep you going for a long, long time. Perfect.

Das Boot

3 stars out of 5 19 May 2008

Das boot or the boat is an enjoyable film (even though it is in subtitles) about a group of German sailors onboard a U-boat, and their dangerouse journey through the war, with an everlasting fear of what's to come!

The Motorcycle Diaries

3 stars out of 5 19 May 2008

Motorcycle diaries is a slow paced yet interesting story about two friends who set out from their homeland and travel round South America. Even though it has a basic set, it puts it's message across of how two mens lives are linked for a brief time.
