Review of the week
(19 May 08 - 25 May 08)

Here at FILMCLUB we don't want to tell you which movies are great - we want you to tell us, and everyone else.

This weeks review of the week comes from:

Sam from Alsager (Aged 14)

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

5 stars out of 5 23 May 2008

What can I say? I have loved this film ever since I first saw it, and, being the best one of the trilogy (not counting the new one) it does not disappoint. The acting is superb, the script is top-notch and the chemistry between Ford and Connery on-screen is fantastic. It also has some great action scenes, despite some showing their age. Overall, it really is a brilliant film, with plenty of in-jokes and one-liners to keep you going for a long, long time. Perfect.

Other reviews this week:

Emily from Pickhurst Junior School (Aged 11)

Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End

25 May 2008

I think that this movie is a bit confusing yet you can relate to it easily.orlando bloom is a great actor !!!!!

Georgia from The Disraeli School (Aged 11)

Spirited Away

25 May 2008

I didn't really find this film fasinating because it wasn't excactly my type but alot of people would love this film. I think it has a lot of potential (the film) and know that alot of work was put to it so when i think about it that way I suppose the film is actually quite amazing - the way it was made.Lots of animators worked on this.

Spongebob Squarepants The Movie

25 May 2008

I absuloutly love Spongebob - he is soooo funny but the film was a dissapiontment because really Spongebob Squarepants is Television program material because you can not possibly make it as funny as Spongebob's standards for 90 minutes AND make it link. Don't get me wrong though i do like the film, but i did think i could have been better but overall I gave Spongebob Squarepants The Movie : :-)
