Review of the week
(28 Apr 08 - 4 May 08)

Here at FILMCLUB we don't want to tell you which movies are great - we want you to tell us, and everyone else.

This weeks review of the week comes from:

Georgia from The Disraeli School (Aged 11)

The Lion King

30 April 2008

I love this film with great songs and lyrics by Elton John. No matter how many times I see it i cry when Simba's ( the main character) dad dies. This tragic event was caused by Scar ( the evil villan that wants to be king) but he makes Simba believe it was him. Simba runs away to find some great friends ... his old friend Nana comes to find him... to hear the rest you must watch it! I love this film and it was followed by a brilliant musical one of which we are performing at school. Lion King is the best!!!!

Other reviews this week:

joe from Rosendale Primary School (Aged 10)

High School Musical

4 stars out of 5 2 May 2008

Rebecca from Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed Church of England Junior School (Aged 12)

Animal Farm

3 stars out of 5 4 May 2008

When we watched this film last week everyone thought it was a bit.....gory! I thought it was a good film because it tells you a message that even animals have to stick up for themselves just like humans, and even though farmer Jones was a tough man they told him what was happening no matter what! Poor Boxer!! I hate Nepolion!! By Rebecca
