The Lavender Hill Mob

***By Jasmine *** (age.9) A bank clerk called Henry Holland plans to get a truck full of gold from the bank of England's weekly delivery truck. Another man called Mr.Pendlebury and a group of other men join Henry Holland in a plan to melt the gold and make it into little tiny models of the Eifle Tower, but then the police found out the plan and tried to put a stop to it, this is when there is a huge car chase all the way around London...... I think this was a really good film, although Lavender Hill Mob was in black and white I still thought it was just as good as it would be if it was in colour (=D). I think everyone should see this film and will enjoy it just as much as I did out of 10 I think it deserves an 8. ****************A MUST SEE =D******************* BY------Jasmine, Wheatfield Primary, Age 9yrs

Spirited Away

Spirited away is about a girl called Chihiri who is moving to her new home. On their way to their new home her father took a shortcut and got lost. They then took a walk and find an all you can eat buffet but there is no one around to have made it. So her parents started to eat the food. The girl then walked around the place and then all the lights came on and ghosts started to appear. She ran back to her parents but then her parents were turned into pigs. She then met a boy called Haku who was a dragon. She then met a lot of other people including the boiler man and the mother of the big baby. There was also a ghost called No Face which had a white face but black cloak around him. He came in and started to help people but then started to eat people. Then No Face and Chihiri went to the mothers sister who was the nice one. Haku was knocked out but then woke up and flew to the mothers sisters house to find Chihiri. He had stolen a seal of the mothers sister and he went to return it. She would stop at nothing to get her parents back to normal and go home. I won?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t tell you the end. Rabbit-Proof Fence

Rabbit-Proof-Fence Rabbit-Proof-Fence is based on a true story about three sisters who run away from River Moore camp for Halfcasts to go back to Jigalow where they live. The government took them away from their families and tried to make them all like white people. (We don?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t use the word Halfcasts anymore because people get their feelings hurt. This is a very horrible old fashioned word.) By Matthew McKibbin.

The Goonies

The Goonies. The Goonies is about 7 kids who find a map in the attic which leads them to a pirate?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s ship. This ship is meant to have a lot of treasure on board. The kids then set out to find this ship of One Eyed Willie. They need to find the treasure to keep their house so the developers can?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t knock it down. On the way they encounter a family of escaped convicts called the Fratellis. They then go down a tunnel where they encounter a series of tasks. They then find the treasure but then are captured by the Fratellis and are tied up. Then Chunk (He is the one who loves Ice cream.) and Sloth (The Fratellies brother who has disabilities) comes and saves them and they keep some treasure. But the Fratellis set off a booby trap and then are stuck on the ship. Will they survive? You will have to watch to find out. By Matthew McKibbin.
