Review of the week
(8 Oct 07 - 14 Oct 07)

Here at FILMCLUB we don't want to tell you which movies are great - we want you to tell us, and everyone else.

This weeks review of the week comes from:

Emma from Monkstown Community School (Aged 14)

The Mighty

5 stars out of 5 08 October 2007

I thought that this movie was going to be boring because of the cover, but then I realised that I shouldnt judge a book by its cover. In this case a DVD! The movie was happy, sad, emotional and funny.I enjoy sad movies but it is embarising crying infront of my class, but I still liked it.It is about a friendship between two boys who were completly different from each other. One boy was not that smart and was held back in school two years. The other boy was very smart but he had a problem when he was born. People made fun of him which wasen't nice at all. The small boy was inspired by King Aurther to go on quests and help other people. But as I said it is sad because the boy who was disabled dies and the other boy takes it hard. In the end he was told to think about it and he does,he thinks and thinks and starts writeing a book about his friend. He comes to the very end page but dosent know what to put on it so he draws a picture of King Arthurs grave under water. He realised that even if someone dies they will still Live on in everyones hearts and their good deads will go on living too!

I think this film was brilliant!!!! I loved it when the squirrel drunk coffee and it went crazy and he ran so fast up the hill and the police got him and asked him what he was doing and he just said" crrrrrrrrrrr".
