Bridge builders
The makers of Les Amants Du Pont Neuf originally began shooting the movie on the actual Pont Neuf bridge in Paris while it was closed for repairs. But when they failed to finish the movie in time and the bridge re-opened to the public, they had to build a life-size replica elsewhere in France - making the finished product one of the most expensive films ever made in the country.
